To paint differs entirely from other activities, it is like going into a soundproof room, without noise, without interference, and fully concentrated and wonder why the clock is ALREADY half past four.
I have done several different kinds of art, including portraits, album cover, as you could see here next, but I prefer to create completely free without any limits.
Today I work mostly in oil on canvas but occasionally creates images in acrylic in airbrush. Like these covers I made for Virgin Records and the rock group Alien some years ago.
I started to paint 1978 just for fun but surprisingly started to sell immediately. Some years later, 1985, I had my first exhibition in Göteborg, Sweden. The paintings takes quite a long time to produce especially the oil paintings- it can take a whole month or more to create one of them .
1985 I met the artist Charles Wildbank in Los Angeles and was inspired of him as he used airbrush technique. He introduced and learned me some basics.
Another artist, Howard Brooks from Sweden, gave me some tips and backup in the late 80s. Otherwise I'm autodidact.
